Obando is a municipality in the Philippine province of Bulacan in the Central Luzon region with approx. 55,000 inhabitants.

It is about 5 km to Manila Bay in the west. Malabon is 10 km south and 4 km from the Mac Arthur Highway and 6 km east from the North Luzon Expressway.
history
In the 18th century, the parishes of Meycauayan, Valenzuela (formerly Polo) and Obando formed a single town called Meycauayan. Polo and Obando formed a barrio called Catangalan. In 1907 Obando became an independent town.
