San Ildefonso is a Filipino municipality in the province of Bulacan , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, San Ildefonso had 104,471 residents who lived in 36 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
San Ildefonso's neighboring communities are Candaba in the west, San Miguel in the north, San Rafael in the south and Doña Remedios Trinidad in the east. The topography of the city is characterized by flat lands . The western part of the municipality is located in a depression in which the Candaba river marshes spread out. An area known to ornithologists around the world . Parts of the Biak-na-Bato National Park are located in the municipal area.
