Doña Remedios Trinidad is a municipality in the Filipino province of Bulacan . In 2015 it had 22,663 inhabitants. The community was founded by a decree from Ferdinand Marcos . It was named after his mother-in-law Doña Remedios Trinidad Romualdez. The topography of the municipality is largely determined by the low mountain range of the Sierra Madre . The mountains are forested and extensively protected, such as in the Angat Watershed Forest Reserve . Parts of the Biak-na-Bato National Park are on the municipal area.
