Paombong , Tagalog : Bayan ng Paombong , is a Filipino municipality in the province of Bulacan , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, Paombong had 53,294 residents living in 14 barangays . It is classified as a third income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Paombong's neighboring communities are Calumpit in the north, Malolos City in the east, and Hagonoy in the west. In the south there are extensive mangrove forests on the coast of Manila Bay . The topography of the city is characterized by the plains of the central Luzon lowlands.
