Obereurach is a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Iffeldorf in the district of Weilheim-Schongau . The hamlet is located about three kilometers northeast of the Iffeldorfer town center.

history

The first mention Eurach as "Eyran" in Urbar the Lords of Seefeld - Peißenberg from 1300 to 1320th

The court stamps conscription of 1752 reports of two ¹ ⁄ ₈ farms in Obereurach that are subject to interest from the Ettal monastery .

In the years 1863 and 1865 Joseph Anton von Maffei bought the two properties and formed the Obereurach estate from them , which existed until 1972. In 1973 the St. Eurach golf course was built in the corridors around Obereurach.
