Location of Aschberg in Bavaria

Aschberg (also Aßberg or Assberg ) is a former district of Iffeldorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau . The wasteland was about 1.5 kilometers northeast of the Iffeldorfer town center, west of what is now the Untereurach district .

history

Little is known about Aschberg. The property there was acquired by Hugo von Maffei , the operator of the nearby Staltach estate , in 1884. It was demolished and a new road was built in its place, the associated grounds were reforested .
