Obermühle (Buch am Wald)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The upper mill was a desert mill that belonged to the district and the municipality of Buch am Wald (today the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia ).

geography

The Obermühle was south of Buch am Wald am Berbersbach , today in the area between the main road and Am Wiesengrund. The shepherds' and parish farms bordered in the east, and the Buch forest in the west.

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, the upper mill belonged to Buch am Wald. The mill had the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office in Colmberg as the landlord. Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the upper mill was given house number 43 in the village of Buch am Wald.

As part of the municipal edict, the upper mill was assigned to the Buch am Wald tax district, which was formed in 1808. She also belonged to the rural community Buch am Wald, founded in 1810. After 1885 it is no longer run as a district. It is unclear since when this mill no longer exists.
