Oberramsau is a cadastral municipality in the Strengberg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria . The associated village is Ramsau .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 133 building areas with 55,411 m² and 85 gardens on 313 291 m² in the cadastral municipality of Oberramsau, in 1989/1990 there were 133 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 151 and in 2009/2010 there were 162 buildings on 288 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 717 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 109 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 738 hectares and 109 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 689 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 126 hectares. The average soil climate number of Oberramsau is 40.8 (as of 2010).
