Frommberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kirchberg am Walde in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 54 building areas with 21,747 m² and 25 gardens on 15,964 m² in the cadastral municipality of Frommberg and also in 1989/1990 there were 54 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 143 and in 2009/2010 there were 72 buildings on 137 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 269 ​​hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 68 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 258 hectares and 74 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 250 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 74 hectares. The average soil climate number of Frommberg is 29.6 (as of 2010).
