Thürnbuch is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Strengberg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 80 building areas with 43,716 m² and 133 gardens on 476,885 m² in the cadastral municipality of Thürnbuch and at the turn of the year 1989/1990 there were also 80 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 93 and in 2009/2010 there were 108 buildings on 216 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 456 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 88 hectares were forest-managed forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 496 hectares and 90 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 468 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 94 hectares. The average soil climate number of Thürnbuch is 42.2 (as of 2010).
