Ottendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Strengberg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 96 building areas with 37,705 m² and 66 gardens on 223,505 m² in the cadastral community of Ottendorf, in 1989/1990 there were already 124 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 132 and in 2009/2010 there were 88 buildings on 144 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 514 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 38 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 529 hectares and 38 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 499 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 54 hectares. The average soil climate number of Ottendorf is 43.2 (as of 2010).
