Oberschulenberg is a settlement in the Altenau-Schulenberg district in the Upper Harz Mountains of the mining town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld in the Goslar district of Lower Saxony .

The place is located in the west of the Upper Harz . Mittelschulenberg is located two kilometers east of the settlement . The mining town of Altenau is four and a half kilometers southeast , the district town of Goslar nine kilometers north and the mining town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld five kilometers southwest .

history

Oberschulenberg belonged to the community of Schulenberg in the Upper Harz , which was incorporated into Clausthal-Zellerfeld on January 1, 2015.
