Octavio Villegas Aguilar
Octavio Villegas Aguilar (born January 26, 1940 in Copándaro ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Morelia .
Life
Octavio Villegas Aguilar was ordained a priest on March 5, 1966 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tula on April 27, 1994 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on May 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Alberto Suárez Inda , Bishop of Tacámbaro , and José de Jesús Sahagún de la Parra , Bishop of Ciudad Lázaro Cárdenas .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 29, 2005 auxiliary bishop in Morelia and titular bishop of Cissita .
On April 8, 2015, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
