The Roman Catholic Diocese of Tula ( lat. : Dioecesis Tullanensis , span. : Diócesis de Tula ) is one in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese based in Tula de Allende .

history

The diocese of Tula was on February 27, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Postulant quandoque from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Mexico City and the Diocese of Tulancingo and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Mexico City as a suffragan .

On November 25, 2006, the Diocese of Tula by Pope Benedict XVI. subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tulancingo as a suffragan with the Apostolic Constitution Mexicani populi .
