The Oelsener See is a 94 hectare lake south of Müllrose and east of Beeskow in the Schlaubetal Nature Park .
Tributaries and location
The Demnitz flows into the northeast bay of the lake, the Oelse flows through it from south to northwest and flows into the Spree near Beeskow . Its shape is that of a "Y". On the eastern part of the lake is Dammendorf , where the Demnitz flows, and on the western part of the lake is Oelsen . The Oelsener Mühle, a little north of it, has been at the point where the Oelse left the lake in the direction of Oegeln since 1406 .
fishing
The lake is used by a fishing company . There are mainly stocks of eel , perch , pike , carp , tench , catfish and pikeperch . The lake can be used for fishing with rental boats.
ecology
The lake is designated as a lime-rich, unstratified lake ( residence time 3 to 30 days) with a very large catchment area (4871 ha). Otters also live in the lake .
