Ofenerfeld is a part of the municipality Wiefelstede in the district of Ammerland , Lower Saxony , Germany . The place is located northwest of Oldenburg and borders directly on its urban area.

Motorways run on three sides at a distance of a few kilometers:
- west of the A 28 from Bremen to Emden 5 km away
- northeast in 3 km distance the A 29 from Oldenburg to Wilhelmshaven
- the connection piece A 293 between A 28 and A 29 2 km to the east
The service of Ofenerfeld by public transport is ensured by the bus lines 301 and 313 of Verkehr und Wasser GmbH (VWG). The line runs every 15 minutes via Ammerlandstrasse to the final stop “Ofenerfeld” and connects Ofenerfeld with Oldenburg city center (and continues to Eversten ). The final stop “Ofenerfeld” is also served by the 313 bus that runs via Metjendorf. Furthermore, the VWG night express line N37 runs on Ammerlandstrasse in the direction of Metjendorf to Lappan . In the evenings and Sundays , line 324, also served by VWG ( coming from BBS Wechloy ), is extended to Ofenerfeld.

- Heinrich Kunst meeting place Ofenerfeld , former home of Heinrich Kunst. Built in 1819 and after the death of Heinrich Kunst by the association “Meeting place Heinrich Kunst e. V. “renovated, it now serves as a meeting place and for the maintenance of Low German and Ammerland-Oldenburg customs.
