Olcay Turhan (born January 30, 1988 in Herford ) is a German - Turkish football player of Turkish descent. The midfielder is under contract with the Turkish second division side Adanaspor .
Career
Turhan began his career at SV Werl-Aspe , a club from Bad Salzuflen . He later moved to Arminia Bielefeld's youth division and was promoted to the second team in 2007. With this he qualified eleventh for the newly created NRW league . For the 2008/09 season, Turhan moved to SC Wiedenbrück 2000 , with whom he became champion in the Westfalenliga I and rose to the NRW League. During that season, Turhan scored 15 goals.
This was followed by a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf's second team , for whom he scored a goal in 16 regional league games. Turhan then returned to his native Herford and played in the 2010/11 season for the national division SC Herford . He then moved again to Arminia Bielefeld and was used there in the second team. On May 5, 2012, he made his debut in the first team of Arminia when he came on for Patrick Schönfeld in the game against Werder Bremen's second team .
For the 2012/13 season Turhan received a professional contract with Arminia. and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in summer 2013 with Arminia . For the 2013/14 season he moved to third division club SV Wacker Burghausen on loan . However, the contract was dissolved again in winter. Then Turhan was awarded to the regional league club SV Lippstadt 08 for the second half of the 2013/14 season . The contract was finally terminated in the summer.
In the summer of 2014 Turhan moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for the South Anatolian representative Adanaspor . In January 2016 he moved to fourth division Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor .
