Patrick Schönfeld (born June 21, 1989 in Nuremberg ) is a German football player who is under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden .
Career
Patrick Schönfeld started playing soccer at 1. SC Feucht and 1. FC Nürnberg and finally finished his youth training at SK Lauf. In his first year in the senior division, he played for the SK run in the regional league and after a year moved to the Bayern league for FSV Erlangen-Bruck . There he immediately asserted himself as a regular player, so that professional clubs also noticed him.
At the age of 20 he was signed by Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . In his first year in the 2nd league he came to numerous missions, mostly in the final phase and was only on the starting line-up once. He was denied a goal in a total of 45 missions in two years.
After relegating RWO, he moved to Arminia Bielefeld in summer 2011 . On the 2nd match day he scored his first goal for Arminia when he marked the 1-1 equalizer against VfL Osnabrück in the 85th minute . Schönfeld won the Westphalia Cup twice with Arminia and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013. At the Ostwestfalen derby in August 2013 against SC Paderborn 07 , Schönfeld scored the 3-3 final with his first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga.
On May 28, 2014, FC Erzgebirge Aue announced on its website that Schönfeld had signed a contract until June 30, 2016.
After Aue was relegated from the second division at the end of the 2014/15 season , Schönfeld moved to Eintracht Braunschweig for the 2015/16 season . With Braunschweig, he failed in the 2016/17 season as third in the table in the relegation against VfL Wolfsburg only just about promotion to the Bundesliga.
In the summer of 2018, Schönfeld moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden . At the end of the third division 2018/19 season , he went into labor in the second division .
