Oliver Bürgin

Oliver Bürgin (born January 1, 1973 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Bürgin was born in Zurich in 1973. From 1997 to 2001 he attended the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and played his first roles at the Münchner Kammerspiele while still a student . He then took on an engagement at the Stadttheater Konstanz , where he could be seen in classical roles in Shakespeare's Hamlet and Hebbel's Die Nibelungen as well as in children's theater. In 2006 Bürgin returned to Munich to the Schauburg . He also played in several short films by film students and in television productions in Germany and Switzerland. At the side of Andi Niessner , he co-directed Björn or the hurdles of the authorities (2001).

Since autumn 2014 he took part in the filming of the novel adaptation of Peter Stamm Agnes , directed by Johannes Schmid in part, in which he described the role of Jan. plays. The film was released on June 2, 2016 .
