Jean-Marc Leclercq , stage name JoMo , (born October 10, 1961 ) is a French musician and Esperantist from Toulouse . In 1999, he won an entry in the Guinness Book of Records with a concert in 22 languages .

The stage name JoMo is the Esperanto pronunciation of the initials of his first names ( J.M. ).

biography

J. M. Leclercq's father was born in northern France. On the mother's side, J. M. Leclercq is of Gascon , Catalan and Italian descent. His wife is a native of Poland .

Les Diam's

J. M. Leclercq's stage career began in 1977. In France he became known in the early 1980s as the bassist and composer of Les Diam's , who played pop with influences from reggae , ska and punk . After Les Diam's was dissolved in 1983, numerous projects followed such as Les Gringos ( folk and rockabilly ), Les Évadés d'Alcatraz , Queen Bees , Dougherty , Les Vicomtes .
