The Olkengraben is a good half a kilometer long orographic left tributary of Odenbaches in Rhineland-Palatinate Kusel in the domain of the municipality Lauterecken-Wolfenstein belonging municipality Adenbach .

The Olkengraben rises in the natural area of Moschelhöhen in the North Palatinate Uplands at an altitude of 234 m above sea level. NHN in a bush in the hallway Am Olkengraben almost four hundred meters northwest of the Brucherhof residential area belonging to the local community of Adenbach .
It initially flows in an east-south-east direction for about a hundred meters along the southern edge of the bush complex and then runs through grassland accompanied by thick wood. He then moves to the south-southeast. A little further down the stream, north of a poor pasture on his right side, the raft ditch, which rarely carries water, flows towards him. The Olkengraben now runs on the northern edge of the hamlet of Brucherhof, first south-east and then east through the corridor behind the houses .
It still crosses under the Landesstraße 382 and finally flows into the corridor The lower gardens about 100 meters east of Brucherhof at a height of about 170 m from the left into the Odenbach coming from the south .

The Olkengraben drains over the Odenbach , the Glan , the Nahe and the Rhine into the North Sea . The height difference from its source to its mouth is 64 m, which corresponds to a mean bed slope of about 107 ‰ over a run length of about 600 m.
