The men's 60-meter race at the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris was held on July 15, 1900 in the Croix Catelan . A total of 10 athletes took part. This short distance was twice part of the program at the Olympic Games . It was held for the first time in 1900 and quickly disappeared from the program again after 1904 .

As can also be seen in the photo, the sprinters ran on tracks that were marked out with ropes. Kraenzlein equalized his world record from the run-up. Tewksbury and Rowley's residues are given by SportsReference as " inches " and "short foot".
