The women's 100 meter freestyle swimming competition at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin was held from August 8th to 10th in the Olympic swimming stadium.

Hendrika Mastenbroek from the Netherlands swam the best Olympic time in each of her runs and became Olympic champion.
