Omolara Omotosho
Omolara Omotosho (born May 25, 1993 in Akure ) is a Nigerian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
In 2009 she was banned for two years for doping with methenolone .
At the 2011 World Athletics Championships she came in seventh place in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 2012 she won the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay at the African Athletics Championships in Porto-Novo . At the Olympic Games in London she reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and was disqualified with the Nigerian team in the final of the 4-by-400-meter relay.
At the 2013 World Championships she came back to the penultimate lap over 400 m and finished sixth in the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay.
In 2014 she was part of the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Sopot , who came fifth and set an African indoor record with 3: 29.67 minutes in the run-up. At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow she was eliminated over 400 m in the semifinals and contributed to winning the silver medal through the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay through her use in the run-up.
She set her personal best of 51.28 s on June 21, 2012 in Calabar .
