Onur Recep Kıvrak (born January 1, 1988 in Alaşehir ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

Kıvrak started his career at Yeşilova SK . Karşıyaka SK signed him in the summer of 2004 . In his first two seasons he only came to three missions. His breakthrough came in the 2007/08 season. For Karşıyaka SK he played 15 games in the first half of the season.

Trabzonspor became aware of the Turkish U21 goalkeeper and signed him during the winter break in January 2008. His first game in the Turkcell Süper Lig Kıvrak completed on April 26, 2008 against Gaziantepspor .

National team

Onur Kıvrak was in 2005 with the Turkish U-17 selection as a substitute goalkeeper behind Volkan Babacan U-17 European champion and also took part as a substitute goalkeeper at the U-17 World Cup in Peru in 2005 when the team reached fourth place. As a result, he was also active for the U-18 and U-19 selection as well as for the U-21 national team , for which he was used eleven times.

Kıvrak played his first full international for Turkey on May 25, 2010 in a friendly against Northern Ireland in New Britain , which was won 2-0.

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was accepted as a substitute goalkeeper in Turkey's squad, but was not used.
