Organyà is a municipality in the Catalan comarca of Alt Urgell in the province of Lleida . It has 784 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) and is located on the right bank of the Segre below the Trespons Gorge at an altitude of 558 meters. The C-1313 road connects the village with the localities of Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell .

In the village, a monument commemorates the Homilies d'Organyà , a collection of sermons from the 12th or 13th centuries, which is the oldest fully preserved literary text in the Catalan language . They were discovered in Organyà in 1904.
