Coll de Nargó is a municipality in the Catalan comarca of Alt Urgell in the province of Lleida . It was settled by Spain in 1714 and has 550 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019).

Coll de Nargó is located on the Segre River near the Oliana Reservoir. From here roads lead to the neighboring municipalities of Ponts , La Seu d'Urgell , Isona and Sant Llorenç de Morunys .

The municipality consists of the following districts:

• Coll de Nargó, the core town (483 inhabitants)
• Gavarra bordering the Comarco of Noguera (26 inhabitants)
• Les Masies de Nargó (30 residents)
• Montanissell at the foot of the Sant Joan Mountains (28 inhabitants)
• Sallent in the south of the Sant Joan Mountains (38 inhabitants)
• Valldarques (15 inhabitants)

Population development

The population of Coll de Nargó has long been declining. In 1900 there were still 1389 inhabitants living here.
