Orlando Mason Jordan (born April 21, 1974 in Salem , New Jersey ) is an American wrestler best known for his time with World Wrestling Entertainment .

Jordan is the cousin of Dwayne Johnson , who is also active as a wrestler under the name "The Rock".

Career

World Wrestling Entertainment (2002-2006)

After Jordan in 2000 made his professional debut, he began in 2002, for the WWE to work, where he at Smackdown - Roster was active. He was WWE Champion for one evening (since John "JBL" Layfield was knocked out that night) when he was supposed to defend the title against Undertaker . The match ended in a disqualification win against Orlando Jordan, so that he passed the title back to JBL. This made him a member of John Bradshaw Layfield's Stables The Cabinet . Here he acted as Chief of Staff (the one who, among other things, manages the employees) and often helped Layfield win its matches. Conversely, with the help of Layfield, Jordan won the WWE United States Championship from John Cena on March 3, 2005 .

After Jordan lost the title at the Summer Slam to Chris Benoit , the biggest feud of his career began for him. In this there were some matches in which Jordan lost after less than 25 seconds. After this feud ended, he left The Cabinet . Jordan's remaining time in the WWE was largely insignificant, and so he was fired in May 2006.

Independent (2006-2010)

After his release, Jordan was active in various smaller promotions, especially Nu-Wrestling Evolution and New Japan Pro Wrestling . The NWE World Heavyweight Championship won the first-mentioned promotion . He lost this title to the Ultimate Warrior on June 25, 2008.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2010-2011)
