Orsa is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Dalarna County and the historical province of Dalarna .
It is located on Lake Orsa north of Lake Siljan near Mora and is the capital of the municipality of the same name .

The European route 45 runs through Orsa . Orsa has a station on the Inland Railway . Currently (2020) there is only regular passenger traffic in the summer months from June to August and in winter from December to April. However, there are plans to offer connections to Mora several times a day. The partially closed Orsa – Bollnäs railway branches off at the station . Freight traffic to Furudal takes place here sporadically . In addition to a few special trips, there is scheduled passenger transport to the Orsamyran music festival , which takes place annually in July.
