Os Mundi was a German Krautrock band that existed in West Berlin between 1969 and 1975.
The band emerged from the Safebreakers (1962-66, single: Hey Girl / Patsy Girl ) and the group Orange Surprise . The group initially oriented itself towards psychedelic and progressive rock and released a Latin Mass (1970) as a sextet (with guests ). With the second album produced by Conny Plank , it opened up further into the fusion area for 43 minutes . The third album, which was essentially made for radio in 1975, e.g. It was partly recorded with guests from Agitation Free and was only released in 2008. Between 1976 and 1980 the band met once a year for a sold out reunion concert in the Latin Quarter .
