Oscar Jaime Llaneta Florencio (born February 5, 1966 in Capoocan , Leyte , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and Roman Catholic military bishop of the Philippines .

Life

Oscar JL Florencio received on 3 April 1990, the sacrament of the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Palo .

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Lestrona and auxiliary bishop in Cebu on July 3, 2015 . The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Giuseppe Pinto , donated him episcopal ordination on September 4th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Cebu, Jose Serofia Palma , and the Archbishop of Palo, John Forrosuelo Du .

On March 2, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him military bishop of the Philippines. The inauguration took place on April 3 of the same year.
