Oskar Zawada [ ˈɔskar zaˈvada ] (born February 1, 1996 in Olsztyn ) is a Polish football player . He will be under contract with the Polish first division club Wisła Płock from January 1, 2018 .

Career

Zawada started playing football when Stomil Olsztyn was young , before moving to the VfL Wolfsburg youth center in summer 2012 . In the 2012/13 season he played with the B-Jugend (U-17) in the B-Jugend-Bundesliga . With 19 goals in 19 missions, Zawada was the top scorer in the North / Northeast season. In addition, he has already made three appearances in the A-youth (U-19), the German A-youth champion . In the 2013/14 season Zawada played firmly in the A-Jugend and scored 19 goals in 21 games. He also made his first appearances in the second men's team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nord . In the 2014/15 season , Zawada was able to maintain his goal rate and scored 16 goals in 15 missions. At the same time he made seven appearances in the second team (one goal).

After Zawada had already received a professional contract until June 30, 2018 in July 2014 and went through the youth department, he moved up to the professional squad for the 2015/16 season . He continued to collect match practice in the first half of the season in the second team, for which he scored two goals in four games.

In February 2016, Zawada moved to the Dutch first division club FC Twente from Enschede on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season . On February 6, 2016, he made his debut in the Eredivisie in a 3-1 away win against SC Heerenveen when he was substituted on for Zakaria El Azzouzi in added time. In total, Zawada came to eleven league appearances during his guest appearance without scoring his own.

For the 2016/17 season Zawada returned to VfL Wolfsburg, but was only part of the second team's squad.

In January 2017 he moved to the second division club Karlsruher SC , with whom he signed a contract that ran until 2019. He made his debut for KSC on the 18th matchday when he came on for Dimitris Diamantakos in the 89th minute of the game against Arminia Bielefeld . He scored his first two goals for Karlsruhe on May 14, 2017, the 33rd match day, in the 3: 4 defeat against SG Dynamo Dresden . At the end of the season he was relegated to the third division with KSC.

On December 29, 2017, the club announced that Zawada was going back home to the first division club Wisła Płock . In winter 2020 he was loaned to league rivals Arka Gdynia until the end of the season .

Zawada is a Polish national youth player and went through all national teams from the U-15.
