Oskaras Jusys

Oskaras JuSyS (* 13. January 1954 in Troskunai , anykščiai district municipality , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and jurist , international lawyers , politicians , former Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania , lecturer of Vilniaus universitetas .

Life

After graduating from high school from 1961 to 1972 at the Troškūnai Middle School, he studied law at the Faculty of Law at Vilnius University from 1972 to 1977 and then worked as an assistant. From 1978 to 1981 studied at the Moscow University and in 1981 received a doctorate in inheritance law on Tarybinių piliečių paveldėjimo teisių gynimas kapitalistinėse šalyse ( "protect the inheritance rights of Soviet citizens in capitalist countries"; 1993 Doctor nostrified ).

From 1981 to 1985 he was a high school teacher, from 1986 to 1990 a lecturer . From 1994 to 2000 he was ambassador , u. a. at the United Nations in New York and at the European Union in Brussels; from 2000 to 2001 Oskaras Jusys was deputy foreign minister.

With his wife Roma he has the son Edvinas (* 1983).
