Osmond Ezinwa (born November 22, 1971 ) is a retired Nigerian sprinter .

He celebrated his greatest successes as a relay runner. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was a member of the Nigerian 4 x 100 meter relay , which won the silver medal. However, Ezinwa was only used in the preliminary round. In February 1996 he was tested positive for the stimulant ephedrine and was subsequently suspended from doping for three months by the IAAF, the World Athletics Association . After that he was able to take part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta , but missed the finals there with the relay.

In 1997 he was used at the World Athletics Championships in Athens in the finals as the starting runner of his relay. Together with Olapade Adeniken , Francis Obikwelu and his twin brother Davidson Ezinwa , he was only beaten by the Canadian team in 38.07 s . In the same line-up, the Nigerian relay team set a new continental record in the semi-finals with a time of 37.94 s.

Osmond Ezinwa's best results as an individual starter include his third place in the 100-meter run at the 1995 African Games in Harare and at the 1996 IAAF Grand Prix Final in Milan .

Osmond Ezinwa had a competition weight of 79 kg with a height of 1.82 m.
