Olapade Adeniken (born August 19, 1969 in Oshogbo ) is a former Nigerian sprinter whose special routes were the 100 and 200 meter run .
Sporting successes
Adeniken took part in three Summer Olympic Games ( 1988 , 1992 , 1996 ) and celebrated his greatest success with winning the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Barcelona Games in 1992. Together with Chidi Imoh , Oluyemi Kayode and Davidson Ezinwa had to admit defeat to Adeniken in 37.98 s only to the US team around Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell (37.40 s).
Adeniken also won silver medals at the 1997 World Athletics Championships in Athens with the relay and at the 1989 Summer Universiade in Duisburg in the 100-meter run .
