Oswald von Frühbuss

Paul Heinrich Friedrich Oswald von Frühbuss (born on February 4, 1839 in Malmedy ; died on November 5, 1899 at Wallerode Castle in Wallerode ; Prussian nobility from October 18, 1861) was the Prussian district administrator of the Malmedy district from 1883 to 1888 .

Life

Origin and military career

As the son of the officer and district administrator of the Malmedy Ernst von Frühbuss district , Oswald von Frühbuss joined the Rhenish Cuirassier Regiment No. 8 in Deutz near Cologne on July 1, 1858 as an avantageur . On July 10, 1865 he left the Deutz cuirassiers with the rank of second lieutenant . Appointed Premier-Lieutenant the following year , he resigned from Prussian military service as Rittmeister in 1880 . Oswald von Frühbuss took an active part in the German War of 1866 and the Franco-German War of 1870/1871.

District Administrator of the Malmedy District

After Frühbuss was elected as a landowner in 1869 for county deputies in the district of Malmedy, he was on 7 June 1883, and in following the June 1, 1883, for the provisional district of the Upper Taunus district appointed Bernhard Freiherr von der Heydt , also initially temporary basis, management of the Malmedy District Office. The Catholic Oswald von Frühbuss married Anna Maria Bertha Nicolai on June 10, 1880 in Wiesbaden (born on September 18, 1856 in Eupen; died on June 6, 1920 at Wallerode Castle), a daughter of the pensioner Gustav Nicolai and his wife Bertha Nicolai, born Countess of Lousade.
