Otto Liedl

Otto Liedl (born February 4, 1921 in Linz , Upper Austria ; † October 21, 2010 in Lembach im Mühlkreis , Upper Austria) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

After attending compulsory school, Otto Liedl learned the profession of electromechanic and technical draftsman . He was involved in the labor movement early on and therefore accepted a position as a civil servant at the Rohrbach employment office in 1945 . After 15 years, he took over its management in 1960. Also in 1960, he was elected as a member of the Rohrbach municipal council .

Liedl was not only the district chairman of the SPÖ in the Rohrbach district , but also a member of the state party executive committee of the SPÖ-Upper Austria. In November 1967 he was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . Otto Liedl was a member of the regional chamber for twelve years until October 1979.
