Otto von Ramin († February 18, 1610 in Stettin ) was Chancellor in the Duchy of Pomerania-Stettin .

Otto von Ramin came from the Krakow family of the Pomeranian noble von Ramin family . In his youth he acquired an extensive education from many trips, among other things. He was first court master of the young dukes Johann Friedrich , Bogislaw XIII. , Ernst Ludwig and Barnim X. He then became a councilor at the court of Duke Julius of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and finally at the court of the administrator of the Archdiocese of Magdeburg , Joachim Friedrich von Brandenburg. They sent him to various diplomatic missions at imperial and princely courts. The emperor awarded him the Palatinate .

He became Chancellor of Duke Johann Friedrich and remained in this office for 18 years until he left for reasons of age. From 1571 he was canon and from 1586 until his death dean of the Camminer cathedral chapter .

Otto von Ramin was the heir to Krakow, Brunn and Petershagen . In 1569 he had bought their share in Petershagen from the brothers Hans and Jaspar von Elsholtz. He acquired Brunn and the desert Feldmark Glambeck in 1589. From Duke Bogislaw XIII. In 1599 he received the entitlement to Penkun and the Reinkendorf property in Petershagen.
