The Ouche is a river in France that runs in the Côte-d'Or department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the municipality of Montceau-et-Écharnant , first drains in a north -easterly direction, then turns in a south-easterly direction near Dijon and flows into the Saône after 95 kilometers in the municipality of Échenon , near Saint-Jean-de-Losne , as a right tributary . Between the towns of Le-Pont-d'Ouche and Dijon, the river accompanies the Canal de Bourgogne and is also used for its water supply.
