West ( English ) or Ouest ( French ), is a region of Cameroon with the capital Bafoussam .
geography
The region is located in the west of the country and borders in the north on the northwest region , in the northeast on the Adamaua region , in the east and southeast on the center region , in the southwest on the Littoral region and in the west on the southwest region . In the north of the province extends the Bamenda highlands , in the northwest the Bambouto massif , with 2740 meters the third highest point in Cameroon, and the Manengouba .
