Pöffelkofen is a part of the municipality of Adlkofen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . The desert is about two kilometers north of Adlkofen and can be reached via the LA 31 district road .

As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Wolfsbach was largely incorporated into the Niederaichbach community on July 1, 1971 , the districts of Pöffelkofen and Zaitzkofen became part of the Frauenberg community and after its dissolution on August 1, 1974, to Adlkofen.
