Blumberg is a part of the municipality of Adlkofen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut .

The village of Blumberg is located about 1.7 kilometers northeast of Adlkofen on the state road 2045 in the Isar-Inn hill country .

history

The oldest documented evidence of Blumberg comes from the year 1597. At that time the place belonged to Deutenkofen .

There is an inn with overnight accommodation in Blumberg. Otherwise the place is characterized by agriculture.

traffic

Via State Road 2045 you can get to Adlkofen in a westerly direction and to the neighboring municipality of Kröning in an easterly direction .

In 2005 the construction of a cycle path along State Road 2045 from Schweinbach (City of Landshut) to Adlkofen was awarded. A continuation as a footpath and cycle path via Blumberg to Birken was planned and its construction with a total length of 2.4 km was decided by the local council in summer 2013. On June 2, 2014, he also decided to carry out the construction himself.
