The house Pölle 12 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located southeast of the town's market square, east of the confluence of Straße Hölle and Straße Pölle. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built according to a building inscription in the year 1712. Other data give the time around 1680. The building is covered with a high half- hip roof , whereby the roof structure is still from the construction period. There are pyramid beam heads on the facade . The large west gable is characteristic of the building's appearance.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the house was plastered in the classicism style . At the same time, the entrance door that still exists today was built. In 2000 the plaster was removed and the framework was exposed again.
