Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built in its structural core as early as 1409 after a dendrochronological investigation. The building was converted in 1535, in the first half of the 18th century and in the middle of the 19th century. It served as a tanner's house . In the compartments of the upper floor there are decorative linings that were made in the first half of the 18th century. A remarkable staircase in the building dates from the same period. In 2013/14 the property, including the courtyard buildings, was renovated by Gabriele Fischer architects and converted into holiday homes .

The house is not mentioned in the Quedlinburg Monument Directory published in 1998, but is listed in the 2002 Handbook of German Art Monuments .
