Pölle 30 is the name of a listed door in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt , which is registered in the Quedlinburg Monument Directory . The whereabouts of the front door is not known to the public.

Design and history

The wooden door, richly designed in the Baroque style, was originally located at Pölle 30 in the old town of Quedlinburg. It was then reused in the replacement building that was built in the same place. It was reduced a bit. Early diamond motifs and carvings in the form of vine leaves were used as decorations . It was used as a front door to the street Pölle and was located on the southern edge of the house directly on the border to the south-facing house Pölle 31 . The fashion store Haus des Herren was housed in house Pölle 30 .

At the end of the 20th century, the replacement building, which was not listed, was dilapidated and was then demolished in 2006 due to the risk of collapse. The whereabouts of the front door is unclear. Today, the property at Pölle 30 is used as an area for open-air catering to the Prinz Heinrich restaurant, which is located opposite in House Pölle 29 .
