Příchovice (German Stefansruh , also Prichowitz ) is a district of the municipality Kořenov in the Jizera Mountains in the Liberec region in the Czech Republic .

geography

The center of the village, in which the church, two restaurants and a statue of a saint are located, is two kilometers southwest of the main town Kořenov. There are 279 registered addresses in the village, 271 people live here permanently. There are also holiday homes in the village, which are mainly used by holidaymakers. The 760 m high Příchovice is a center of winter sports . The ski area is called U Čápa (German: Zum Storch) and has one drag lift and two chair lifts. The chairlift and the slopes of the neighboring Rejdice (Reiditz) border directly on the 4.94 square kilometer area of Příchovice.

history

From the middle of the 19th century, Stephansruh formed a community in the judicial district of Tannwald . Příchovice has been part of Kořenov since 1960. In 1991 there were 309 people living in the village. The 2001 census counted 121 houses and 271 residents.
