Zlatá Olešnice (German Woleschnitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southeast of Tanvald in the Jizera Mountains and belongs to the Okres Jablonec nad Nisou .
geography
The village extends south-east of the Jizera Mountains in the valley of the Zlatník brook from Rejdický Kopec to the south.
Neighboring towns are Český Šumburk, Příchovice and Rejdice in the north, Počátky in the northeast, Sklenařice in the east, Vysoké nad Jizerou in the southeast, Počátky and Stanový in the south, Lhotka in the southwest, Haratice, Bohdalovice and Velkéaldry in the west and Tanvaldry in the west.
history
The oldest reports of Slavic settlement go back to 1033 when the first Christian church was built. The church consecrated to the apostles Cyril and Methodius is said to have stood on the old path leading from Semily via Bozkov on the left bank of the Zlatník. The village has been documented since 1384.
Zlatá Olešnice was divided into two parts; the upper part of the village belonged to the Navarow rule, while the other part, which made up the largest part of the village, belonged to the Semil rule.
Community structure
The municipality of Zlatá Olešnice consists of the districts Lhotka, Návarov (Nawarow) , Stanový (Stanow) and Zlatá Olešnice (Woleschnitz) . Basic settlement units are Lhotka, Stanový, Zlatá Olešnice Návarovská (Woleschnitz-Nawarower part) and Zlatá Olešnice Semilská (Woleschnitz-Semiler part) . Zlatá Olešnice also includes the Počátky location (Potschatek 2nd share) .
The municipal area is divided into the cadastral districts Lhotka u Zlaté Olešnice, Stanový, Zlatá Olešnice Návarovská and Zlatá Olešnice Semilská.
