Rádlo (German Radl ) is a municipality in Okres Jablonec nad Nisou in Liberecký kraj , Czech Republic. It lies above the Mohelka Valley in the Jeschken Mountains .
history
The first documentary mention dates from 1419. At that time the monastery in Mnichovo Hradiště sold the parish Rychnov with the municipality of Rádlo to Jindřich von Valdštejn .
The originally Czech community received a German majority from the 18th century through immigration and assimilation . At the census in 1930, 61 out of 1737 inhabitants were Czech.
The residents lived primarily from agriculture and livestock farming. In the 19th century, a few smaller industrial companies emerged, mainly in the textiles and jewelry sector . Radl formed a community in the judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse from the middle of the 19th century .
In 1938 Kohlstatt (Milíře) , which until then was part of the Hermannsthal community , was transferred to Radl. After the expulsion of the German population in 1945/46, mainly Czechs settled in the interior; however, the population remained well below the pre-war level.

The municipality of Rádlo consists of the districts Milíře (Kohlstatt , also Kohlstadt) and Rádlo (Radl) .

- Mountain Císařský kámen (Kaiserstein, 637 m), so called since a visit by Emperor Joseph II in 1788
