The judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse ( Czech : soudní okres Jablonec nad Nisou ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Bohemia which was subordinate to the district court of Gablonz an der Neisse . It included areas in the north of Bohemia. The center and seat of the judicial district was the city of Gablonz on the Neisse (Jablonec nad Nisou). The area has belonged to the newly founded Czechoslovakia since 1918 and has been part of the Czech Republic since 1991 .

history

The original patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished in the Austrian Empire after the revolutionary years of 1848/49 . They were replaced by the district, regional and higher regional courts, which were planned according to the principles of the Minister of Justice and whose creation was approved by Emperor Franz Joseph I on July 6, 1849 . The judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse initially belonged to the Bunzlauer Kreis and in 1854 comprised the 18 cadastral communities of Dalleschic, Gablonz, Gränzendorf, Grünwald, Johannesberg, Josefsthal, Kukan, Labau, Marschowic, Maxdorf, Neudorf, Pulečnej, Radl, Reichenau, Reinowic, Seidenschwanz and Wiesenthal . The judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse formed in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial district of Tannwald (Tanvald) the district of Gablonz an der Neisse .

In the judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse there were 31,328 people in 1869, in 1900 there were 55,318 people.

The judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse had a population of 67,309 in 1910, of which 62,795 stated German (93.3%) and 3,175 Czech (4.7%) as the colloquial language. In addition, 1,121 foreigners or foreigners lived in the judicial district.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse became part of the newly founded Czechoslovakia , with the division of courts essentially remaining until 1938. After the Munich Agreement , the area was added to the district of Gablonz on the Neisse .

After the Second World War, the area belonged to the Okres Jablonec nad Nisou , but its authorities lost their administrative powers as part of an administrative reform in 2003. Since then, these have been taken care of by the municipalities and the Liberecký kraj , and the area around Gablonz on the Neisse has been owned since the beginning of the 21st century.
