Maršovice (German Marschowitz ) is one of the oldest communities in Okres Jablonec nad Nisou .

The Mohelka rises in Maršovice .
history
The village was founded at the beginning of the 14th century, around the same time as Gablonz . It is an originally Bohemian village that was later colonized by the Cistercian monastery in Mnichovo Hradiště .
The inhabitants lived mainly from agriculture . Mainly flax and oats were grown . At the beginning of the 19th century the village was the seat of the carters who transported the glass made in the area around the world. The first glass processing factories were also established in 1830, and from the middle of the 19th century the village belonged to the judicial district of Gablonz an der Neisse . During the Second World War , buttons were made for the army.
The community has 450 inhabitants (as of 2006).
